111 EAST TENTH
An apartment combination in the east village provided a new home for the client and her infant son. The compact kitchen and hall form the connecting element between the recombined front and rear halves of the apartment. Existing federal style period moldings were replicated to imply a sense of seamlessness between the old and new. Original wide plank pine flooring was uncovered and restored. Darker hues of paint were used to provide a subdued back drop to the antique and French modern furnishings.
