The client and new owner required a complete renovation of this house in the landmarked Fiske Terrace-Midwood Park area of Brooklyn that maintained the Victorian detail but provided a more usable modern home. The kitchen and formal dining areas were interchanged to provide better visual and physical access to the kitchen. New windows and selective wall removal provided greater light and views through the ground floor level. The attic space was renovated to complete a master suite. New mechanical and electrical systems were also installed in an integrated manner.
